Ewan McGregor gives me goose bumps every time with this song. Ugh. Ok, so this isn’t an exhaustive list of all things love, but “Some of the best…” didn’t sound as catchy as a title. As you all know, Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I think it’s a great time to remember how much fun we can have with a love theme. There’s all kinds of love, as you know- so I’m not just talking about the “make-out” version. It just a good time of year to tell people that you love them. So feel free to use any or all of the following collection for Facebook posts, tweets and handwritten notes on Valentine’s Day or any day.
I know there a ton I’ve missed, so let me know in the comments below what love quotes, songs and sayings should be on this list.
…And if you don’t already I know… I love you. Thanks for being here.

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being “in love” which any of us can convince ourselves we are.
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two. ~Louis de Berniere
